Preventative Maintenance

You wouldn’t drive your car 100,000 miles withough changing the oil.  The same logic holds true for your home comfort system.  Regular HVAC preventative maintenance is the best way to ensure trouble-free operation and peak performance. Pre-season maintenance is also important.  It can help to avoid a system failure in severe hot or cold weather when you need it most, and it can also keep your energy bill from getting out of control.  I would like to somehow combine both furnace and a/c maintenance if possible, but if you don’t think that will work that’s okay.

Furnace:

-Clean burner assembly
-refurbish flame sensor
-clean draft motor
-calibrate temperature rise

-calibrate gas valve
-calibrate/clean blower motor and assembly
-confirm amp draw
-test safety switches

-clean condensate drains
-check vent termination
-replace air filter

Air Conditioning:

-clean and check outdoor condenser coil
-calibrate refrigerant charge
-inspect contactor
-check amp draw to compressor
-check amp draw to condenser fan
-inspect fan for balance and cracking
-replace air filter
