Since January 2006, locally owned MacDonald Heating & Cooling has been committed to providing dependable heating and cooling services.

Matt and Tammi MacDonald have lived in the Great Falls area their entire lives, and have family history dating back to the 1890's in central Montana.

For more than 20 years, they have built reputation for showing up, doing the job right, and working with customers and their homes as they would want for themselves.

The MacDonald team values the relationships that have been built within the central Montana community, and take pride in providing honest, reliable service that families and businesses can feel comfortable depending on. The goal is to offer and implement solutions to make your home a place of peace and rest year-round.

Michael Nason

Michael grew up in Missoula and has called Great Falls home for the past 13 years, where he lives with his wife and their three boys. He has been with MHC for the past nine years and takes pride in the work he does and the relationships he’s built along the way.

Michael enjoys teaching his boys new things, cracking jokes, and appreciating a nice vehicle whenever he gets the chance. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family and making the most of life’s everyday moments.

Tobyn Petronek

Tobyn was born and raised in the Sun River Valley. He’s been with MHC for almost 3 years and loves what he gets to do for work every day. When he’s not working, you’ll almost always find him outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing, or hiking with his dog, snowmobiling, or golfing. Being naturally mechanically inclined, he also enjoys working with his hands and working on any sort of machine or vehicle.

While he has a laid-back and humorous personality, he also takes pride in doing everything to the absolute best of his ability. He’s always looking for ways to learn, improve, and challenge himself, and he’s the type of person who won’t stop until the job is done right. Above all, Tobyn values his family and the time he gets to spend with the people closest to him. Whether he’s working on a project, enjoying the outdoors, or simply spending time with family and friends, he takes pride in making the most of the time he has.

Jake Banach

Jake was born and raised right here in Great Falls, Montana, and has been part of the MacDonald Heating & Cooling team for over 11 years. He takes pride in doing things the right way and is known for being meticulous, dependable, and maybe just a little bit of a perfectionist when it comes to his work.

More than anything, Jake enjoys helping people. He genuinely cares about the work he does and the people he does it for, and he’s always willing to lend a hand when someone needs it.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Jake spending time with his wife and dogs, out on the golf course, enjoying a day at the lake, or hanging out with family. He’s a Montana guy through and through who believes in working hard, treating people well, and taking pride in what you do.
